Hey I read something great in the word on the plane over I wanted to throw up to you guys
John 1:14 And the word became flesh and dwelt among us , and we have beheld His glory, the glory of the only Son of God full of grace and truth.
If we look at the life of Christ here on earth we see that His presence enveloped this phrase “full of grace and truth” in His first coming Christ displayed in His ministry grace. He did not come in His first ministry to condemn the world (John3:17) but he came to give grace unto sinners in forgiveness (Mat 9:2-5,luke 7:36-48, John 8:3-11) His ministry was fully committed unto grace unto sinners giving us what we do not deserve. The sprit was given to convict the world of sin and righteousness and we know that God judges us from His throne. But Christ came not to do that until His second coming in which the whole world shall come under His judgment.
But Just as Christ is fully God and Man. So he came to minster fully in grace and truth. Fully in truth He came john 1:9 he came to enlighten us unto what biblical truth is. He corrected the outward appearances of holiness by directing our attention to the hearts position adjacent to sin. As a minister of both of these he was a perfect minister unto the world and Christians. Walk in this aspect of Full grace and truth for if you fully walk in grace you will accept those who are searching for someone to care for them. And if you fully walk in truth you will minister medicine to their malnourished souls and hearts that have been fed by thoughts of relativism, selfishness, and pleasures of seeking both this world as the better to satisfy.
