Capri

I got to the ferry station in Napoli, and i went up to the counter and presented my eurail pass and he looked at me like "what the heck is this?" I asked him if he knew what this was and he said no. I told him what it was and he said that they did not take it! I said but i'm allowed to take ferries with this. He said sorry. ahhhhh I hate Napoli! So i had to pay the ticket which only turned out to be 10 euro but that's why I got this pass!

Once I got on the ferry I had forgotten it all. It was so nice being out at Sea. It took about an hour to get to the island once I did it was about a 3 hour walk to the top part. Man! my calves were killing me!! I found a hotel over looking the ocean but it was about a hundred feet from where I was so I climbed the things they out on cliffs to make sure the rocks don't fall and spread out my sleeping bag. It had been a hard day but i think i'm going to enjoy it here.

daY TwEnTy FoUr= Napoli sucked so I'm in Capri

Gosh Napoli is the worst city I have ever been to! The streets were covered with trash and dog crap! As I got down to the bay area the streets were cleaner but there was no beach! As I was walking down I saw a guy stealing stuff out of a guys bag that was swimming I stopped in frank disbelief that he was doing this. He stopped and looked at me and I was so mad !! I just kept starring at him and he looked at what he was doing and then threw the stuff down and left looking at me saying "what?"

I walked for about 2 hours and finally found a tourist info place. They said that I could check out the churches. I told them that that's really not a vacation to me I've grown tired of that so they said I could checkout the underground of the city and the catacombs. I said "sure!" they showed me a place and said that it closed at 7. So I set off for another hour of walking. Got there and they said they closed at 4. It was 5:30 ahhhh! I was so annoyed. but on the walk I noticed the stuff here is really cheap! I found a buch of shoes I will buy as I head to Spain after Greece so I guess it was not all a waste of time. But I decided the city was old and headed out to the Isle of Capri! check out the pics!

playing video games and making friends!

I was really digging this new "rad doll kung-fu" game! I was bored so I made my way back to the game place. One of the workers asked me if I wanted to play. We played a racing game (I hate racing games) and I lost both times. I asked if he wanted to play the fighting game. We played for about 1 hour and a half. I was champion!!! He switched off with different workers to see if they could beat me. I had about 3 losses, 4 ties and 16 wins!!! ....I'm getting sick I can feel it.

I went to the Roman forum today. It was the center of all of Roman politics, news, and sights. They have a statue of Tacitus here. Tacitus was the general who destroyed the temple of Jerusalem in 70 a.d.

I was sleeping on a rock and a tourist group came over and the historian told the stroy of Julius Cesar of which i have never heard; so got a free tour sort of haha.

So this was the spot that I stayed last night. Around 5 a.m. I awoke to a man sitting next to my face reaching out with his hand towards me!!!!!!! I jumped to the side and said "what the heck are you doing?! he replied, "what are you doing here?" I said, "I'm sleeping!" "where are you from?" I told him I was from cali and showed that I was uncomfortable with him being here. He asked me why I was sleeping out side I told him I had no money for a hotel and thus I had to sleep out here. He told me it was dangerous I said " I know!" then he looked at me for a while and then left.

DaY TwEnTy TwO- it's hot!!!yea!!

After almost a month it's finally hot!!!! No more cold nights!!!! I found a piece of glass and cut my jeans into shorts, bought a new light shirt and i'm gonna get some flip flops

DaY TwEnTy OnE- a Day in Rome

Hey today there is a huge battle of "football" between Great Britain and Barcelona!!! Playstation is sponsoring this and so that set up tons of flatscreens and playstation 3's. I had a great time playing a game against this italian kid

Rome at night

After eating a wonderful dinner at the hostel (white wine included; the only wine I have ever enjoyed!) I set out to see the city. I was supprised to see how cheap it was! I need to go to the store tomorrow and buy new pants or shorts and a new shirt (the one I was given is.... not my style.) ahhh it's a nice city huh... the glory of Rome and yet it was taken down from inside. Showing that nothing lasts... we'll tomorrow it's off to explore!!

What do i do now?

So my board and blankets are gone... I threw away my hoodie, I have been sneezing all day, blowing my nose and had congestion... yep it's time for another hostel. I slept at a hostel here about 3 years ago... maybe I can still find it, lets see what was it called... hmmm I don't remember, what street was it on?.... I forgot... ok what does it look like... I don't know... well this sucks but here we go!

So I set off down the main street and after 30 min I recognized a road!! I went down this alley and found it!!! (well at least that's the short version) I buzzed the "Roma Inn" but no answer. I kept buzzing but still no answer! After about 10 more minutes a guy yells at me from the other side that they are closed. He says he'll help me find a hostle. "Yes!" So he directs me toward "Gulliver's"

I knock on the door and this guy answers the door. "hello do you have a bed for the night?" I asked, "No we have no beds". Dang now where do I go? He asks me where I am going where I came from I told him I was going through Europe sleeping on the street and I needed a place to stay even if it was the couch. So he let me in!! I got a free t-shirt (good I needed to throw away this one!) and I got free dinner from some people I met that night, he was going to give me free breakfast and bring me a blanket to have in the morning. And best of all i've been able to share Christ with about 3 people here!!! Best hostel ever!!!

Shaving and Problems

I have had this beard for to long! I went and bought some shaving cream and a couple of disposable razors. I can't wait to shave!! This beard has gotten so annoying! So where can i shave? Well when you are homeless you think of a things:1 where is there a free toilet, 2 where is there free running water,3 where is there a free mirror with privacy? the answer....... parked trains!! Trains come in and stay for about 30 min and then take off. So i just went to the public information and looked at what time it was and looked to the train that would leave in 30 ;that would be plenty of time to get this off.

So i was shaving in one of the trains and while I was half way done the train started moving!!! huh?!!?! this train isn't suppose to leave for another 20 min!! I burst out the bathroom and went for the door but it was locked!!!! where was this train headed i thought to my self... Rome. guess I'll have to do without my blankets and skateboard it's off to Rome!!!... and everyone is looking at me me cause i only got to shave my face... not my neck.... so i have this huge neck beard and a shaven face... lol

ughhhh

Well i finally couldn't take carrying that hoodie around all day anymore. It smelled and after a short nap in the grass it was really dirty not to mention all the oil and dirt built up in it so....i tossed it. Goodbye faithful hoodie! This thing kept me warm against the cold nights in france

the streets

I went to check out the city streets of Florence today. I love walking down the streets to see all the vendors and their items for sale. It turned out to be a hot day today so i left my skateboard and blankets at the spot where I had slept last night and just strapped on a lighter backpack.

The da vinci museum

These are pictures of what Da Vinci realized in his brilliant mind. He is most rememberd as an artist but he was also a mathmatician,engineer, and video gamer. he had 15 thousand journals written which had his ideas for the world and get this he wrote them all from right to left and backwards!!!

DaY TwEnTy- the streets of Florence

first day in florence

This is the first real view. i went to the Leonardo da vinci museum...well actually it was more of a museum dedicated to his engineering side. showed all of his models used for war and society. i watched a dvd on his life and it was really good but i had to leave so i could not watch it all. then i went and saw this little car and thought it was pretty funny.

May 24th day NiNtEeTh- Florence

Click on the picture if it's to small. Well now I'm in Florence!! i left Venice on May 22nd, I marked the wrong date on my ticket! I only have 15 days allowed of travel and i marked to wrong date on one of my spots and i can't get it back!!!! ahh so i lost a day. Well let's see what Florence has to offer. Leonardo and Michelangelo were both born here. In 1720 the first piano was made and the first opera was performed here!

Such a nice city

What a nice City!!! It can all be seen really in one day though. I usually spend the day walking around then afternoon get on the internet,study,blog. Then at the end of the day go sit and watch the boats go by. Yesterday I was just sitting and this old man came up and yelled in my ear something I have no idea of the meaning of. Then he said thank you and walked on... whuh???ehhhh? Did i do something wrong? Ohh well tomorrow I set off for Florence I think i'm going to take this wine tasting tour of Chanti a city beside Florence. See you tomorrow!

DaY SeVeNtEeN- a day of winding roads

Almost all of Venice looks like this!!! it's so easy to get lost. i went to see SAn Marco the place were supposedly the Mark (who wrote the gospel of Mark) is buried. i woke up on the 4th floor scaffold of a construction site. the workers found me sleeping and asked me to leave. then i got lost till about 12 and found my way back to McDonalds where i am sitting nice with free wifi eating yogurt.

Wow only 2 euro!!! It was so good we should sell this in the coffee shop this summer just a cup of cold cherries in water; gosh that was good

tiring day

Wow I got lost so easily but it's pretty easy to do in this city! I'll have a hard time finding places to sleep tonight. I got up this morning and decided skate to where the direction of the city was ... after about 20 minutes of skating I was wondering where the water was. I skated alittle more and came to a dead end. i asked a person to show me on the map where I was. He told me I was not in Venice. I was in the next town and pointed in the direction. So I skated for an hour asking directions and I finally saw the train station of Venice as i got closer it looked exactly like the one from the other city... it was. I had skated in circles for a hour!!! ahhhhh!!!! so not worth it. And i still haven't eaten breakfast. Finally found a train going there instead and took that; man !!it's only 6:30 a.m.!!

DaY SiXtEen- Venice,italy

I made it to Italy! I slept on the trainsation platform lastnight. Not the best sleep i've had this trip. Every hour a train would come sliding in to place screeching on it's breaks and blowing its whistle. Then at 5:30 this morning I awoke to a train zooming past my face from about 8 inches away!!!!!!!! I rolled to the left hopping that I was not to dazzed to know which way I was rolling!! ahhh talk about freaking out. I was asleep and had moved to the edge on the platform almost falling off. Then I started to get up and put my stuff away when the train conductor came and escorted me out telling me that what I did was dangerous... yeah I figured that out.

Takin it easy

So after my train arrived I had to go back and get some pictures. I skated to this lake it was a perfect spot!!! I was wondering why no one was swimming!! So I looked around to the left...to the right; stripped down to my underwear and got in!!! I can't tell you how cold it was!!! ahhhhh! I couldn't breathe right. My breath was coming in short rasps. I swam for about 5 min then got out I threw my underwear on the ground and put all my clothes on. I then skated with my, wet underwear, back to the station. got on the train and continued back to Interlaken where I got my ticket to Domosollva. Then i realized my underwear was missing!! ehhhh? where did it go?? So i went and bought some new one what a great day!!!

my walk through Luzern

I had some cool things to see as I walked through... I already wrote that part so I won`t waste ink... or space...oooops. I stopped by a local market and bought some octopus legs and olives. The guy selling it to me was looking at me like" this was suppose to be a joke i can`t believe he is actaully buying this" please home boy I ate this for breakfast with my soup in Japan!

The promise of a new day

you. I leave Luzern, Switzerland tomorrow for a train ride through the alps starting at 8a.m. and then hopefully I will hit Venice, Italy by night fall, but for today.... I think i`ll take a walk through the market and see the town. cheers

uhh ohhh!

I met a friend here and we went out to see "Angels and Demons" did you know that in Switzerland they have 10 minute breaks in between their movies, weird! Well we went to Starbucks and i shared the gospel with her. She believed that people have their own way of getting to heaven. I explained to her that salvation is an absolute truth and therefore there is only one way not to mention that everyones religions conflict on the issue of salvation so a pluralist view is not logical. I really shown alot of truth into her and please pray for her as she still did not give herself unto the Lord but did recieve full knowledge of salvation. I also witnessed to a woman in Nice and told her my testimonty of how God has given me peace. She was trying to sell me a book by one of the Judges or founders of Scientology and how this book can help get rid of the stress in my life. I kindly shared with her of how God has allready done that.

After the movie we came back and Ahh there was water leaking all over the celling and lights!! ouch I wonder how much thats gonna cost!

lazy days

Well since I`m in the mountains I've decided that I needed to get a hostel so that I don`t freeze (there is snow about 200 ft above me still!) this is a very nice hostel it`s new and opened just 2 months ago I`m able to just chill and enjoy the comfort of a "home" and for a little while i can study somewhere besides a restaraunt!
